Perfect Pianos Performing Arts Program master class is designed to prepare piano students for the annual local festivals and national competitions. Each student is assigned to a practice room. They spend dedicated time warming up and practicing. After a snack break, the students perform on stage for the master teacher.

MASTER CLASS ACTIVITIES

Students spend the first thirty minutes of their practice room sessions drill exercises from the Virtuoso Pianist by Hanon. (9:00 am - 9:30 am)

Warm-Up Sessions

Each participant will be given an individual set of practice directions to follow while in the practice room session. Students will drill and practice festival and competition repertoire. (9:30 am -10:30 am)

Practice Sessions

Just before the master class session, the students will take time out to have a brief continental lunch with healthy selections of fruit, veggies, and sandwiches. (10:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.)

Boxed Lunch Catering

The last hour of the class is spent in the recital hall with the Master Teacher. Students perform on stage for the entire group on a volunteer basis. The master teacher provides useful suggestions for improvement.
